Mushrooms with guns. Do I have your attention? Good.

Petal to the Metal is a bullet hell shoot'em up game. You play as a Flower, killing Mushrooms with your gun that upgrades the more you kill. Progress through the level to reach and destroy the final boss.

This game was made over the course of 6 months as the final project of my diploma in Game Art and Development, and selected as the winner of the Student's Slice at the NZ Game Awards 2020!

Thank you! Not sure about levels currently, but next week I'll be taking some time to add more accessibility options such as the ability to disable screenshake, changes to the gameplay/combo system, and maybe even a new enemy!
